$5,000 Scholarship for Women in Agriculture
COUNTRY Financial is honored to offer a $5,000 scholarship to support a woman pursuing education that advances agriculture.
This scholarship is in recognition of the International Year of the Woman Farmer.
COUNTRY Financial was founded by farmers more than 100 years ago, and we are
proud to continue supporting the future of agriculture.
Scholarship Parameters
Applicants must:
Be enrolled in or accepted in an accredited college, university, community college or
technical program
Be pursuing a degree or certification in an agriculture related field
Examples of agriculture related fields include but are not limited to:
Agronomy
Agricultural Business
Agricultural Communications
Agricultural Economics
Crop Science
Agribusiness Management
Agricultural Engineering
Precision Agriculture
Horticulture
Soil Science
Agricultural Technology/Data Analytics

The Thurston County and Yakima/Klickitat County Farm Bureaus each paid $2,000 each and invited any other interested County Farm Bureau in for free. Okanogan, Grant and Benton County FBs joined in support of these comments to the WS DOE.
